Writing Credentials

I’ve been writing on and off all my life, but decided to get serious a few years back. Since then I’ve:

> had two short stories published, by Café Three-Zero (2012 and 2013)
> been longlisted for the Fish International Memoir Competition (2013)
> won a prize for performance poetry with Tongues and Grooves (2013)
> had a short story published by The London Magazine as competition winner (2014)
> gained an MA in Creative Writing, with Distinction, University of Portsmouth     – achieving the MA Student Faculty Award (2014/15)
> gained a place to study for PhD, Creative Writing at UoP, beginning 2015
> had a poem included in the Portsmouth City Museum, Edward King Project folder
> had a monologue and prose poem included in Octomorphosis, responses to the ‘Unrealist artwork’ of Jon Everitt (courtesy of Portsmouth Writers’ Hub), 2016
> had two poems published in Ferry Tales, part of The Ferry Tale Project (AC funded) 2017
> become a founder member / facilitator: Portsmouth’s 60 strong spoken word troupe, T’Articulation, with 18 performances during the inaugural year – 2018
> had an article in Star and Crescent, 
digital independent newspaper, 2018
> had a poem published in Star and Crescent, 2018

> gained the role of Poet in Residence, 2019 (Jan – April), for Portsmouth City Council Library and Archive Services, as part of Portsmouth City of Stories project (Arts’ Council funded)
